When I go to select reverse thust via F2 on the keyboard it will go into reverse but then come out and then go in again and when the throttles are at idle the levers are jittering slightly

What would be the cause of this?

Some ground textures on some buildings also flicker as well

I have tried Googling it but I found nothing except FSCUIPC may have a cause of it, but I have no idea how FSUIPC works far too technical for me!

I cant be bothered to do a new reinstall of FSX cos I have far to many addons and settings to re-apply and remember, If I have to do this then I think FSX is gone for me sad.gif

Dash....

..are you sure you haven't got it running on Autopilot, controlling the air speed, when the Elevator Trim Wheel will be observed constantly rotating, to maintain speed?

Paul...seen rotating, after leaving the local Pub... rolleyes.gif ...!

Dash - what is your control setup, keyboard only, keyboard + joystick?
The effect you report is usually caused by conflicting signals - F2 key says 'reverse thrust' but a joystick throttle which is not fully closed will over-ride that, then F2 kicks in again, and so on.. Sometimes that is due to wear in the joystick creating electrical 'noise' which gives a false signal.
Try recalibrating the controllers you are using. Use a bit of blu-tac or something, to stop the control lever reaching the fully-closed position, and calibrate using that lever position as the zero point. Then remove the block and move the lever as normal. When you close the throttle, it will go beyond the zero point into a null zone, and that should stop the false input .

I had this after reinstalling when my hard drive went kaput! After reading some articles about installing fsx in a folder other than the (x86) default for 32 bit programs on a 64 bit machine I finally plucked up the courage to take it all apart, uninstall everything and then reinstall fsx onto it's own ssd drive.

After a bit of cursing when couldn't get fsuipc to load up (new download had bug which was fixed hours later, unknown to me for a whole day) testing so far indicates bouncing planes (and ships and airport ground equipment) has been fixed and everything nice and stable. Boot up times from ssd so much faster as well, initial loading of fsx and flights are loading in a quarter of the time it used to take tongue.gif

Had this issue last year with a CH Throttle Quad. Recalibration is your first stop for sure, if that doesn't work, try unplugging the throttle and giving it a light spray with CRC contact cleaner (not 5.56) then work the throttles, then replug it once dried out. Solved my problem of removing the dust and grime and no judders.

Yeah I found changing to a different USB Port fixed this issue
