Just catching up with my re-installation. Previously I had GNZLAP installed for AI but now see ORBX AI Traffic for Australia and NZ. Which is the best to install. I note that ORBX requires Microsoft.NET 4.5 or higher will this present a problem if I go with ORBX.

This is one area were ORBX really shines for New Zealand and Australia , its a complete package .... as for GNZLAP, honestly never tried it , I'm going to get a SLAP in the face from our resident AI GURU Charl ..

I can't give you an answer , I'm guessing they go hand in hand.

EDIT: one off the things you have to take into account , dose GNZLAP work with P3D

Can I run VLC when using the ORBX AI or does that not effect anything. Will just have to look at getting MS.NET 4.5 or later. I may try P3D later but in the meantime I am sticking with FSX SE.

You should be able to run ORBX AI on VLC just fine. FS9 and P3D AI flight plans do not mix. If you plan to run any older FS9 AI aircraft then you may run into problems. The older FS9 flight plans can be converted so that they run in P3D. The ORBX AI has recently been updated although I have not yet had time to view it.

In that case I will go ahead an install ORBX AI. I am finding it a bit hard to get my head around ORBX. I have been away from Sim for too long and it is like starting over again and catching up with improvements.

Pat they changed everything were you have to create a new account , they operate their own shop , once you are signed in the AI package is easy found in the freeware d/loads.

Thanks Ian. It had me confused to start with but worked it out and installed the AI package and will see how it shapes up.

Take THAT!

Graham did a good job on the AI and there are GNZLAP paints and bits in there.
Only seriously missing item was the HTAI Cessna's which still can't be beat.

For the later sims it's way easier just to submit to ORBX.
