What happens when my recovery image "E" drive is full ? At the moment I have 2.03gb free out of 16.2

Other storage as follows:

5.93TB free over 4 external drives and another 307GB on another one.
C Drive has 62.3GB free out of 198GB, and Data D has 189GB free from 248GB.

Will I need to direct stuff to another drive if "E" gets full ? its all greek to me.
Always cleaning stuff out the C drive to avoid the red bar.

I'm on Windows 10.
