Are MSFS 2020 bindings problematic on Warthog controls?

I came back to simming three months ago after a long absence . I've spent much of that time yelling at MSFS 2020. Is it just me or is this a genuinely spiteful piece of software? Three months in and I haven't got past setting up my Controls yet. 2020's bindings are simply not stable on my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog peripherals. I've bust the settings down to Default more times than I can remember. But as soon as I attempt to fit a new binding to a button, we're off down the rabbit hole in a death loop with Alice on a bad acid trip. Everything goes awry. Bindings operate and then they don't. I could go on but you get the picture. This software is an insulting nightmare. The only reason I've persisted is because X-Plane 12 (a dream to programme) does not yet offer the same scenery quality. I'll have to get used to that because I'm going to write off my MSFS 2020 purchase and erase the sim from my PC.

2024? Forget it.

I don't see it mentioned very often, but I think profiles apply on a *per aircraft* basis. I say "I think" because it's impossible to tell what's bound to what in that totally insane GUI.

So ... if you jump into a new aircraft, make sure you apply the correct profiles before you jump into the next plane.

Considering what 2024 *can* do in so many respects, I'm amazed that Asobo have allowed this idiotic GUI to get past the testers.
