Oh, and does your motherboard take AGP Graphics cards or PCI-E?

I'm assuming you have an AGP setup, as opposed to a PCIe? If so, a Geforce 7600 GS would be a good card to get. Prices on pricespy: http://www.pricespy.co.nz/pno_9606.html

ah, my assumption is therefore invalid.
i'd still go for the 7600GS, except for PCIe: http://www.pricespy.co.nz/pno_8390.html

512MB memory would be useful for FS i think

i would highly suggest the Palit Geforce 7600GS Sonic. Although it only has 256 memory, it has DDR3 over DDR2 memory, which is really handy.

Also while I was shopping for a graphics card, I found that the 512mb memory on the Asus 7600Gs models was just to look nice, and it didnt actually have any performance increase over 256.

Hope this helps

That's probably true for most games, but I'd be right in saying that FS has a higher use of textures than most other games and synthetic benchmarks, so 512MB could be quite useful.
