When flying I notice the program will intermittently freeze for a second or so and then continue. What is the likely cause of this please?.

Graphics card?

ATI Radeon 9800 Pro. The program has been working perfectly for more than two years with the same set-up and without
this problem.

When on Flightsim press shift + z (i think) twice it should be so it displays your frame rates, when it starts to "lag" do your frame rates drop? Thanks for those tips. I will check out your suggestions.
