Hi
Now that I've got some coin it's time to buy some computer stuff so I can enjoy FSX a bit more. I've got an Asus K8N motherboard, for socket 754 CPUs.

Current specs
Asus K8n motherboard, socket 754
AMD athlon 64 3000 CPU
512 DDR400 RAM
Radeon 9600XT
80gb hdd

I want to get more RAM and a new graphics card. There aren't many (if any CPUs) made for socket 754 now so I'm going to keep the current one.

For RAM I want to add another 512mb so I have 1gb. I want to get some decent brand-name RAM, Kingston or Hynix or whatever, you decide. Make it as cheap as possible for 512mb.

For a Graphics card, it's gotta be AGP cos of my motherboard. Prefer ATI. I want to spend less that $250.

Maybe a new HDD as well, SATA, I think current one is Seagate. For installing games & stuff now that FSX has devoured 16gb of space on my current one.

Go.

Hi Brock,

i can get a 1gig ddr400 memory module for AU$47.00 for a hynix and AU$50.00 for a Apacer chip, video card i can get a ATI Radeon 512MB HIS X1650pro ice Q2 for AU$125.00 and i can get hard drives too, i thought you might like that for instance, these are current prices through a local computer dealer i have brought stuff through, i don't know what cost shipping to nz would be, or if they are cheaper than New Zealand suppliers due to the exchange rates. just thought you might like to know

Worth having a look here. http://www.pricespy.co.nz/ There are listed a number of AGP cards both ATI and Nividia.
