Well ive got a cr@p program bugging my pc with a antivirus2008pro[1]exe andit give a update message ,now ive tryed just about all the cr@p i know on removing it from the temporary folder but nothing will do it so far ,if one of you brain boxes out there could help with a idea on software to use to remove it forever id be happy ,other than that ill just kill my pc and reinstall windows this could take abit as then there is alot of reinstalling a backing up of important work files but im not going to be bugged every ten minutes with this s^^t message ,

the kids and friends installed a game on the pc or something while ive been away so not sure how its got there otherwise

all i think i need to do now is get this thing out of the temporary folder ive removed the start process of this program but still im sure it will just start again each time windows is started even though ive stopped it ..???

software,how too,tools to remove protected files like this anything would be of help ..

EDIT: 15min later =looks like ive killed it from starting up but would like to remove it from the temporary folder for good now

Does the system allow you to delete it (is it locked)? - Or is it simply re-created at startup?

There's a little utility called "Unlocker" that could help out in the first instance. Let me know if Googling for it is unsuccessful - it's not a huge file, so I can attach it for you if needs be.
