Hi all,

I have this beauty, the FSDEZIGN Super Constellation. The checklist says to use reserve pitch after landing (pretty normal with propliners) but there isn't any reverse pitch configured on this aircrat. Is there a fix for this? I harldy could stop the old lady before the end of the rwy after landing. I need that reverse pitch. I have fs2004 version.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

The Connie was the first heavy airliner designed with reverse pitch and set the standard for the next generation of the big propliners ... the FSDEZIGN Super Constellation was to have it configured but the primary designer past away .
There are a couple of other freeware Connies different flight dynamics but sure have reverse prop , I found you could land the FSDEZIGN anywhere if the plane was properly config,d for landing , speed ,flaps, and gentle braking .

I agree with Ian here, as long as you have the approach speed nailed and the flaps set correctly you should be able to put her anywhere you please - within reason of course...

I seem to remember something about pulling the prop pitch all the way back while simultaneously applying power to give you reverse pitch on this model... I know that was the case with the Alphasim P2V Neptune anyway

Mentioning the Lockheed Super Constellation , Aeroplane Heavens new model for FSX is in Beta testing .. many variants and many features - this is a must for me , A real SUPER! smile.gif .. Its counterpart of the period , the A2A B377 has that very problem with reverse pitch , a patch is forthcoming ...

Make sure you dont pull the prop leavers all the way back, otherwise your engines will stop running.
