Online flying with VoiceBuddy

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Hi all,

Is there anybody who flies online AND uses VoiceBuddy in the same time, with the same mic? I was wondering if there was a solution to switch between the ATC communication and the voicebuddy commands. Any ideas?

Thx

Ive had voicebuddy for FS2004 but no long use it with X ,im not sure you can use it with comms at the same time due to it picking up speech commands so i would think it has a option to stop it like a mute pick up and use comm ie like TS or fsx with another key assignment as normal and then switch back to your VB to lower the landing gear etc ..
Id say the manual /options would have this info on the key assignments ..

Exactly as Mike says..... while I don't use VoiceBuddy I do have VATSIM/Squawkbox installed alongside Aerosofts FDC Live Cockpit. I have two different key assignments on my joystick - one which transmits over VATSIM and the other which 'speaks' to my virtual co-pilot!
