You may be aware that both Trolly and Alex are not able to participate much in administering the forum, due to other commitments. Because I am getting busy myself, I've begun to put together a new admin team.
First, I'd like to welcome Naki to the admin team. Naki has moderated a number of sub-forums for some time, and shown to have all the attributes of a good administrator -- mainly the ability to remain calm under fire:)
We are looking for one other administrator, ideally with enough technical skills to maintain the forum software, OR people skills to arrange the screenshot competition. Either/or -- you will need to choose one!
Other requirements are:
Administration requires a number of skills, the most difficult process is dealing with conflict, breaches of rules and member arbitration. You will receive some guidelines on how to do the job based on our experiences, but then it would be entirely up to you to administer as you see fit. Part-judge, part jury is a good way to think of it.
Please contact me via the forum if you are interested. Give it some real thought -- read through the requirements, and rate yourself honestly. This is a big commitment.
Current moderators are welcome to apply, as you are already doing part of the job.

Other requirements are:
- Maturity -- this really means 'middle-aged';
- Calmness -- if you have ever blown up at someone you don't know on the web, then it probably isn't for you;
- Aloofness -- your job is to help members come together, rather than take sides;
- Plenty of time on your hands -- if you work full-time, then you may not have the reserves to do the job.
