Well, looks like A2A have spent some time upgrading the 377. A2A Forum Not my cup of tea (would have bought it straight away if it was a Connie, but the B377 IMO was a strange choice of aircraft from them in the first place - yes, I know what you're going to say Ian!!! tongue.gif ), but looks like it will be another outstanding product from them. Bit disappointed, was hoping for a Lancaster out of them sad.gif

Mark , next time your in this neck the woods , stop in and take it for a spin , I was hoping the Connie from Just Flight was to equal it but was disappointed as far what A2A had to give and its a lot off fun plying it up and down our country . Lancaster would be a goodie , the closes one to Scott would be the Canadian Heritage Lanc .

Will do mate, haven't been over that side of town for a while, but I did capitulate and buy the Accusim P-47 a few weeks back, although yet to work out how to get it to climb at more that 200FPM without overheating! rolleyes.gif I have that JF Connie, flew it a couple of times but the VC is cr@p and for the price I was disappointed. Haven't touched it since. Same with the FCS Lanc as you well know. You're right though, A2A's Scott would probably have no trouble getting hands on with the Canadian Lanc, or Lewis in the UK with the BOBMF one. (Also think 'Just Jane' is still a ground runner over there...) Wouldn't take much they have already done the ground work on the Merlins, (rest of the Lanc is pretty basic compared to the B-17) and I'm sure it would be a big hit to compliment their B-17. Could call it the A2A ETO Allied Strategic Bomber Wing. thumbup1.gif Now theres a thought A2A idea.gif

You must be doing something majorly wrong, I love the old Jug and after learning to baby the spit around the sky its hard to do any damage to the Thunderbolt, it just so resiliant, in fact I cant remember the last time I had to do a total rebuild. I must say that I am surprised to hear that scott and the boys have reworked the 377. I hope that they can update the P-47 then. I just wish that they concentrated on getting that damn Stang finished. They seem to be getting distracted and there is a little unease in the forum about the slow development. I honestly dont know how they make a living when they only put out on average 1 product every 9-12 months. Man i hope they rework the Jug...

Yeah, I probably am. Can't say I have played with it a lot yet though. Can't seem to get the same performance out of it as the manual says, so will look at it in more detail when I get the time. Suffice to say I did a flight last night from YSTW to YBBN in the Accusim Fort, and after losing No3 to a runaway turbo it STILL outperformed the Jug in both climb and speed on 3 engines, so I must be doing something wrong. I was surprised, as I have had the Spit and B17 for a while and no probs with them, I just find that the Jug wallows around painfully, especially with a combat load on. Totally agree about the P51, that seems to have died lately, and if they rework the Jug, it would be great to see the bubble-top variant...

One off the biggest things i keep repeating myself , A2A s -spend a little and you would find it the best investment for your flightsim cool.gif

I'm with Ian, I've splashed out on every FS9/X product they've made apart from the Cub. Spot on every time, so I'll be looking forward to this 377 expansion.

Scrubcutter, it might be worth your while re-installing the '47 just to make sure something didn't go astray during the install... It really is a pig until you get some pace on, but it's nowhere near as bad as you describe huh.gif
Maybe jump on TS sometime and we'll get that Jug hauling.

Steve , that,s one thing we still have to try out , a MP Strat flight one or the other as Pilot or Engineer , be interesting to see if it works in shared cockpit environment . smile.gif
