NZ - Antarctic Flight Maps And Chatham Routes. Not for real navigation - Maps dated Nov 1998 / June 2005. Authentic flight plans for flights in and around New Zealand high level but primary requested routes from the NZ to that chilly spot a days flying from Christchurch oriented to fly to Aerosoft's Antarctic payware package and to follow United States involvement based in Christchurch since 1957.

Also added charts to find your bearings to the Chatham Islands 400 miles due east off Christchurch. Recommend to use here freeware, get it at FS-Creations.org .

Also copied are historical 2 page foldout showing the mis-directed Air New Zealand 1979 Erebus flight, this is not a true but artist perception showing points of reference in this area of the continnent, amazing series off mistakes by the company Air New Zealand.

Thanks Ian - much appreciated. Antarctica is a very complicated continent politically and also geologically (reputed to contain the third largest world oil reserves), but we in Australia of course lay claim to 42% of it.
The biggest base in "our" Antarctic territory belongs to Russia, and the most active country harvesting the resources in Antarctic waters is of course Japan -

I think i have seen every countries air haulers out on the ramp at Christchurch , Russian to Italian to the RAF and the Argentine,s ... RAF loading the trusty Sea Harrier and the Argies , Pucara,s only kidding

I guess it could get messy if it got outta hand down there but who the hell would want a tour down on the ice ... as far as the world leaders are concerned , no sence at all , plunge and pillage and they even steal , end off the day .. be one hell off a COLD WAR
