Looking above makes four , i no two others , verdict ..its good even without adjusting i found going into a MP it added a wind passing sound affect within the Herc after pressing the 'Q' , ground effects are enchanced on your settings

Just get it! winkyy.gif

It really does add a LOT of "immersion". It's an amazing little app for the price.

Just to clarify (for those still "on the fence"):

1) It doesn't enhance/conflict with camera views in any way - just the *sounds* and *shakes* - and their associated trigger points (stall/overspeed/terrain bumps etc.).

2) Works with all your aircraft (though most Accusim a/c already have most of this built in). Doesn't conflict with Accusim a/c.

3) It's a module - and doesn't write back to any aircraft.cfg files. It can be enabled/disabled globally or on a per-aircraft basis "on the fly".

I've found that it dovetails with my EZDOK quite happily, so I get all the subtleties of VC shakes (from EZDOK) with all the appropriate sounds. It also depends a little on the way the original aircraft is coded/modelled. Sometimes, opening a window triggers the "external" sound boost, sometimes you have to open the door. Tweaking is easy - and I've found most of my aircraft needed some customised settings.

I can now hear (and feel) every bump and join of the tarmac ... drag/rumble when flaps/undercarriage is extended ... great wind effects (when I'm in my Tiger Moth). Honestly - it's one of these apps that you think should have been coded into FSX from the very start ... it's brilliant!

good to hear that it works well with EZdok, dont think I could give that up. Geez, throw TrackIR into the mix and it will be quite a sensation. My prob with all this new fangled goodness is that i am stuck wallpapering my new house before i am aloud to move into it properly. Even the computor desk is still flat packed and my office packed with stuff that should never ever enter a man cave sad.gif

Bought this last night, one of those must have cheap addons like shade.

Just on a side note Iris has a half price sale on their 757 sound pack which works perfectly with CS 757.

Ive got it too ...the chnages are subtle to me....maybe some more experimenting needed like turning down the engine sound

I've found that the effects vary slightly from aircraft to aircraft. Tweaking [relative] engine sound helps.

What *isn't* explained in the instructions, is the relationship between Accufeel and the global FSX sound levels - cockpit, environment etc. My Accufeel seems to work fine with my current settings, so I daren't touch them!

Paul I have found that the volume of the effects or some of them anyway seem to be related to aircraft size. Try a big old twin radial with loose cabin and real squeaky breaks, also another factor is "Shock absorption" setting, set that hard and the groaning really starts to kick in on the ground.
Boy the HU-16 sounded as if it was going to fall apart at one stage......... fricken awesome stuff..

Wee demo vid, time to get the spanners and oil can out I think, wind effect after take off is nice..

Nice video, RD! thumbup1.gif

I can't seem to get the stall thing to work properly. I can get it to "happen", but there seems so be very little buffet - just a bit of noise - and the VC doesn't move just the outside view "jiggles" a bit. Nothing like the bouncing you get on the ground. I'd have expected the VC to "tremble" a bit. Does it on yours?

The (default) DC-3 works great - as does the CS Herc, A/S Blenheim and FCS Wellington (both of which I dug out of the scrapyard recently) .. plus countless others. I must admit, it's the older prop aircraft that seem to benefit the most. That said, it worked great on my Vulcan as well!

Adam the bouncing I get is from Ezdok, but I definitely get the stall buffeting in the smaller GA stuff, some stronger than others.

The handy thing i have found with it is the ambient sound in the back when you 'Q' the sound off in the CS130.. this is required when running a MP and comm's on another or it creates a lot of background noise , this AF really gave that little extra when bouncing the hills in a valley chase ... lotta fun ! cool.gif
