Great news for Swearingen fans (no, not the one from Deadwood smile.gif looks like IRIS simulations are well down the track on a physical model for the Metro and I guess some time this year will release the full package. Pics are on their profile page on FaceBook following, nothing on the website yet...

this is one machine I've waited patiently for, love the look of these things, the ultimate pencil-plane tongue.gif

Was just looking over at the BSMP site to see if Dan and co still have their project up, seems like it might have lost a little momentum?

Awesome, will be good to have a really high quality FS model of the Metro - lots of potential for NZ repaints too!

Ha ha, love the way you guys get excited over the Metro. After 6 years of flying the Metro I must admit that it is a fun aircraft for the pilots but I do prefer my 2 motor fokker smile.gif

I was going to say that for some of us an aeroplane you can stand up inside is something to be excited about, but perhaps that's not a good analogy for the Metro. winkyy.gif

I've been looking and I didn't realize that there were that many in New Zealand at one time!

Numerous airlines and air service companies used them for a variety of purposes, so this addon will definitely fit in well!
Hopefully we'll see some New Zealand-based liveries appear during further development!

Note: A few more pictures were added to Facebook showing air stair deployment.

I'm probably more excited about this upcoming addon than anything else that will be coming out within the next year!
