just loaded it up and have to say unfortunately was a little disappointed,..textures are very average , sound package is terrible and prop disk looks horrible and that is only after a quick 5 minute ride. It is in my opinion not payware quality yet and the only reason I bought it is because there is nothing else. This bird is going to need alot of aftermarket work done on it. I'm going to start on a sound pack and replacing the disk textures,..bump maps are almost non existent also.. dry.gif

What a pity...I guess the price reflects the quality in a way...I know a quality FS model maker (and I mean VERY high quality) was playing around with the idea of a making a SeaFury (and a Spitfire Mark XVI) but they are are now doing a different model.

One feature that may or could have been a draw card , a maintanance check on the engine .. engine cowls and such or few other details .. it is missing something , noticed a few switch's don't work but was a glitch in the d/load so maybe the answer , very much one the will be patched i would think but $20.11NZ smile.gif not much for a newbie and course the type .

Lt Co Carmichael's aircraft , i have his combat report here after shooting down the Mig-15 .. had to chuckle - "Wizard i bagged a Mig" biggrin.gif

For peoples interest , the 'O' on the tail shows the aircraft was attached to the HMS Ocean , a light fleet carrier that begun its build 8/11/42 and completed in 30/6/45 .

Watching the videos the interior sound is cool, but man oh man the outside sucks!

I like the visual model, and Adrian's paint looks awesome. I'm tempted, I must say.

working on a new soundset for it,..just having trouble finding good clean recordings,..lots on you tube but most have wind and gust noise ( and commentators..never understood why they talk over the displays nobody actual listens to them ?). I have some stuff done but am lacking high RPM exterior sound recordings at the moment..

Correct .. had good sound but some dork yappin and bloodly horrible airshow music .. i did have something very close , but to be honest , like a spitfire , inside you do not hear the passing sound , its the same drone , so to complete the closes set requires a training day .

I have a quirk with the throttle response (or lack of it) between 0 and 50% throttle being that you can move it between these ranges and there is neither an increase of audible rpm or movement ?. have asked on their forums but apparently I do not have a problem because it is designed around FSX acceleration's P-51 ..which I do have., I strongly dislike being told I do't have a problem when in fact I actually do !!.

I'll have a look in the morning Adrian , i'm sure the sound was fine least in the range of movement .. ive been looking for another sound package which i think is more suited , this a times has a signature of a default cessna with the bass turned up .

I see that this probelm has also been reported by a few users over at SOH as well...so you aren't the only one
