I know the original... but it was a long time ago... in 1989, the last year of the GDR i was soldier in the NVA and at the sommer exercise they are over us. If such a thing is ahead of you and is flying a low pass over you... it is unforgiving. After so much years i have a unpleseant feeling. You sit on your foxhole and you want only to be far away at this moment. He is flying over you... and you are horrified about the noise...
After this I have much respect for such helicopters.

With only closes western counterpart being the Apache , they miss that other thing of laying a section of troops which is something the make this one hell of a dangerous beast , with you in the NVA Andreas least you had the opportunity to check it out first hand something many of us would like to see .

Nemeth is doing one too but I think that's a long way off. Besides that, I know of many people (myself included) who haven't been happy with the quality of their products and support lately.
This Virtavia model likely won't be systems-intensive, but I'm sure it'll still be nice.

Im sure it will Sean , and who needs "systems-intensive" (that should get the ball rolling

)....as i have said many times...if it looks good , who cares.
Re Nemeth, ive read lots of comments on a few forums saying the same thing...they seem to have peaked, and quality just isnt there anymore.
