This one dose have a little NZ connection doing exercises regularly with RNZAF Sunderland's in 1962/63 and finally 1965.

Yea the pic was taken over Coregidor (quite historic) at the entrance to Manila Bay during a combined maritime exercise.
The Marlins and us were based at Sangley Point (U.S.Naval Base).
They were quite an impressive aircraft and a bit newer than our Sunderlands ( but 5 Sqdn were better New_Zealand_etc.gif )

I have a book about the Marlin, they turn out to be very useful during Vietnam in the SAR role.
