You require the 10-40 series basepack - it an expansion, you also have two addon texture packages.

A thought, there is a pop up in "Click Start" - gives you a DC-8 Series 50-70 Performance Config , wonder if that may help for starters ?

Would anyone be able to post some screenies of the flight deck and the INS/Doppler/FMC units?
It sure has a nice looking exterior. The DC8 was a favourite as was the DC10 which I really like....really nice lines and quite advanced for it's time.

Bummer...Because I don't really care for the old DC-8. That's why I haven't got it, but I'm not willing to pay for a product I won't use. So maybe if it ever gets to a nice combodeal, I might think about it.

DC-8s I grew up with so its a memory thing , ... P-47 least in can say I jumped on the wing ... the AN-2 .. well have seen it in action at the 1994 Wanaka airshow, the Stratocruiser .. well that's were you learn engine management ... and the B-17 , I won a book of my choice HS school prize (they did not like my choice), I still have that book, ... one thing with the DC-8 , go's back to when in primary school, found the little model that the local and now well known Breakfast company's WEETBIX made and famous in New Zealand in the 1960s a little plastic DC-8 that come in the box .. now that was a combo package .. YOU had to hear my jet noise rendition

In my last year in Primary, I did the same - my choice was 'Night Fighter' which is Jimmy Rawnsley's account of his time as radar operator to John Cunningham - and that was severely frowned upon by Ould Scotty. But she couldn't do a thing about it, because my Dad was the headmaster...

I have a couple of paperbacks - with dustjackets! - published by Penguin in 1924, and a couple of others not much later.
But I agree, hard cover is your only man for proper books
