I've been following CES this week but had missed this nice Yoke announced from Honey Comb Aeronautical, some health competition for Saitek and CH finally...

Me?.....

..I'm and old; "Stick-in-the-mud", with my Saitek Cyborg X, Fly 4 stick of joy!.... ...!

Had my Saitek Flight Yolk and CH Rudder pedals for yonks now....never used them!..... :wink2: ....!

Too much clutter on my desk, and on the floor collecting dust!

The old Twist-Stick does the job...and as cheap as chips!... .....!

Cheap Chips are nice....I like cheap chips!.... :D ...!

Paul..... :D .... :D ....!

Did you ever try them out Fozz , its a unique sensation for the first month or so , swivel seat , feet on pedals and all the primary controls on your yoke and throttle system, I do have a 'Go-Flight' autopilot module added .. the bee's knees! B-)

Tried them, Ian.....Got the Tee-Shirt....

...to much bloody clutter!

Cant see my monitor over the yoke, and the pedals keep moving around on the floor, (if I can locate them).

If I want to type loads of stuff, (as I mostly do) I just move my little Twist Joy Stick out of the way, and punch the keys on my QWERTY keyboard!

I just use my Flight Sim for exploration, using Google Maps nowadays....

Done the pretend Real Flight Stuff years ago.....

...I know it all now.... ...!

Mostly cooking and eating stuff nowadays....

...with added Vino...

Paul.... ...!

I had a girl here couple months back . she said "Jeez Ian you have a lotta shite in here , that is the way I like it , books, maps, and everything at my fingertips.

One thing I enjoy with the all the controllers 'Yoke, Rudder, Throttles' is when you making scenery specific photo-real, you want to create that same sensation as if you were really there , if one has done a good job then you need the equipment for it, as for the exploring , Crikey , you can pull an NZ Atlas out and say I want to go there, if you have done the trip many times before you get to recall those landmarks , this is were the Yoke is very handy were you study the ground .. feet on pedals , the Yoke is a must.
