And all with a claimed no loss of frame rates - thats hard to believe !! You don't throw extra stuff at computers without some loss surely.

Hmm it may be like calling Sugar 100% Fat Free?

FPS isnt the only measure of 'performance'

Looks like stuff I have been doing (well... OK, attempting) for some months now... except I don't end up with 500 MB paintkits...

OK, I don't put in that much detail either. 500 MB for a skin set is "interesting"

But very nice... I must look further - if they can get 240 pix per metre on the big bad stuff, just think what I could do to the Pitts 6 metres span compared to 80 - why that'S on pix per mm.

I am up to 4000 per six metres at the moment - depends on the maker's paintkits of course.

@Leen - I don't know if you'll read this, but I can't make content over your web-site. I am interested - very - but only for my world: two engines and less, non-tube... and yes I know the vast majority of FS users fly the tubes.

...poor dears! They don't know what they're missing. biggrin.gif

***but I can't make content over your web-site*** please explain Chris? ( sorry it took so long)

Now we are several moths later and have done much more experimenting and improving.
This moment I have several UHDT paints flying around in my PC and still can confirm NO NOTICEABLE IMPACT on the systemperformance.

I really do like these textures! having the CS757 and i see David' Dax ' Sweetman is working these textures or applying them the skins for CS130 for example , Super 80 Ultra High Definition Textures , how long is it before we can kick the tires on the MD80 ? .
