I say, Im glad I passed my CPL today, so no more 172 (apart from night flying) untill i do my C-cat.... Multi engine's here i come...

you forgot the "one seven two", i hardly ever say cessna firsst, unless its to someone that wouldn't have any idea what a 172 is, but know what a "cessna" is....

i have to say all of those are wrong you should have aniother read over the cherokee manual i gave you it has it in there how to say numbers over the radio

Hamish, these are just how you'd say to someone like your mum. On the radio when saying your type you would be a "Cessna One Seven Two"

sorry james i thought u were the person who started this topic but anyway one seven two you do not say it like that it is spelt differently and broken up on some numbers it is like instead of saying nine u say niner
