I used to when Air Nelson had Saabs, but now since they have Q300s which are 50 seaters the weights are too high- they have to kick one or two people off anyway, and it's not fair to kick another off just so the pilot's son can go for a ride

Hmm, we apparently had a BBJ into Rotorua today (N164RJ arriving from Auckland and departing to Hamilton mid-morning); thinking back, I suppose the loud jet noises didn't really add up to the number of 737's that usually come in.

Interesting, we don't often get larger jets (~737 size) into here apart from the scheduled services from Christchurch.
