Thats a pretty cool video actually. My favourite shot would be of the Skyhawk coming up from beneath the ridge and overflying the guys there.

Mind you, I saw some photos from earlier this year when they were dropping some bombs from an Orion up at the (same) Kaipara range.

But yea, effectively a logistical/support air force I suppose.
