Harpoons are the way to go as they are good for sinking ships which would better protect NZ since we have no fast jets its also safer since its a standoff weapon so no risk of SAMs or AAA when using them. Penguin missiles also a possibility as thats a cheaper cruise missile but it has a shorter range.
Harpoon cost $720 000 US each
Range 93-315km
(lol according to wiki NZ already has Harpoon missiles blink.gif )
QUOTE
The Harpoon has been procured by many U.S. Allies, especially by the NATO countries, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, U.K. etc.[/quote]

wiki

Penguin missile
range 34-55km
cost $500 000 - $550 000 US

Yeah I've never heard of any Harpoons in NZ lol unless maybe they are strapping aircrew under the wings with old whaling harpoons maybe they should fit the Aim 9s and reclass the P3 as a Fighter/bomber. laugh.gif

Yeah I've heard the US is doing something similar just look at their new 1million dollar simulator.
