you sure it wasn't -300? because the 300 series are longer than the A380

It's a Boeing 777-300ER, another 5 or 6 on order too. No plans yet for any 777LR

Yeah they have only ordered -300ERs at this stage haven't they? What does this have to do with FSX anyway (why is it tagged FSX)?

B777-300ER VH-VOZ inbound Auckland at present from Sydney on an ETOPS proving flight, ETA 1930LT. Then out 60min later for Brisbane. Pity its raining!

It will be doing test flights around AUS/NZ until next week when it starts ops from SYD.

Are the ETOPS proving flights for the trans pacific route or will Virgin Australia be flying out of Auckland in the future?

V Australia has no current or future plans to fly from AKL, they just do not have enough aircraft at this time. The 300ER has 207 minutes ETOPS anyway.
