Classic Fighters '09 NZFF meetup.

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Postby benwynn » Fri Mar 20, 2009 10:54 pm

Hey Guys,

Well, its getting closer and closer. Only a few weeks time and it once again Classic Fighters is coming. From the 10th April til the 12th of April, a fantastic display of aircraft, both modern and classic will be flying over the skies of Marlborough.

As we discussed in previous topics/posts, I think it was pretty much mutually agreed NZFF would have some sort of meet-up on either of the 2/3 days. So I thought Id try and organise something before I head away, as I may have limited internet access in the weeks leading up to the airshow.

So who's keen. Who, What, Where and When. Post your preferences guys!

Cheers,

Ben

I'll be there....arriving in Picton around 0600 on April 10. Will be on the field for as long as possible on each of the three days, may be a poser and wear my flightsuit and a helmet as I wander around winkyy.gif Keep an eye out for a ginga with a mo, a goatee and a camera bag, chances are it's me!

If you want to organise a specific meeting point, why not at the Bristol Freighter on the flightline? Or near Brendon Deere's Spitfire? Both will be highly visible...especially the Bristol!!!

Look forward to seeing some of you there.
Have got loads to do and that is before even taking any photos so may not have much time to even breather but the bar will be looking quite attractive by the end of each day.

Have taken photos already and will get more in the days leading up so you can see what we have been up to.
