Car hit the plane .. nah ohmy.gif , but sounds like bitta muckin around , again NZHearld strikes again with another sword to strike

No it wasn't - "His younger brother Gray Hopper, 24, said high winds caught the Cessna 206"

The full story in the Herald says it was a "temporary airstrip", looks like he got a strong cross wind just after takeoff and wasn't able to correct it before clipping the car - sounds like the car was in a stupid place.

Yes, I stand corrected - the original reports said a Yak but the photos clearly show a C206.
