Is a shame to see the old 727 go..sure its old and uses alot more juice compared to the newer jets, but you can't beat that amazing roaring jet blast coming from it, these new jets don't make the manly sound as this one does!!! lol

Photo taken on 24th. Anyone know whats going to happen to it? Demand for this type can't be too high so I assume it will soon be heading for the scrappers.

On another note its sad that Continental's plans for Auckland have been delayed. On the other hand it gives Air New Zealand a chance to start another route to North America, that is if they believe there is sufficient demand and if they have enough spare aircraft. Maybe time to order some Boeing 777-200LRs as compensation for late 787s .....or maybe I'm just dreaming biggrin.gif
