Pilot fined for 'offensive' hovering
Pilot fined $3750 for the "gravely offensive" act of hovering a helicopter over Aoraki/Mt Cook's summit.

Paul , Recent on news this week and this is the real crazy one , the tribe that foresee's the great Lake Taupo now want to charge the use of the land the holds the water ... rolleyes.gif

Ridiculous waste of tax payers money! We as a country will never move forward if we keep giving into absolute B..S... such as this.
On the lighter side i find it funny that they fined him basically a dollar a meter! biggrin.gif
