Arrr that's a whole lot better .. I felt sorta lost when the RNZAF lost the fern in the early 1970 but warmed very much to the Kiwi , this for the airline ... sure the airline company must have been listening to the forums and peoples BORE of the current scheme ... just think how great it would look with a movie graphic properly placed on the forward nose ... its about time ...

Some forward thinking covering the entire New Zealand sport emblem and Koru with the now national colour ! cool.gif ............. and i'm not a sport fan for a long whiles !

I like the design. I realise the symbolic nature of using black but I do think the starkness of the black and white will date quickly. It needs colour.
Apparently the all black scheme is not a favourite of the engineers as it makes finding the lightning strike entry and exit points a real mission compared to the white.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

Blimey an area i never thought of .... , think of the job they have with all those wizard sparking wands on hobbit artwork biggrin.gif ... New Zealand is renown for initiative design .. maybe some should design a camera/sensor .
