Did a freight run in this when it was with fieldair/NZ freight in 1986 Christchurch to Wellington and back .... the snow capped pilot was Alister Johnson , man! this guy could fly - the Mount Cook incident was a little scary in the fact we almost lost the Dak but years later found it operating out off Wigram and to fly on it again to Wanaka.
