Be a good thing to do at Christchurch as well, parking a plenty as its directly on the corner with the gate to the facility were the many plane spotters go, make for a great looks, learn and listen.

I've spent some time with these guys. They are a fantastic bunch of people. I was doing a course here and we took a field trip to AKL and spent some time with them. The highlight was they took us out to RW05 right on the grass at the touchdown point and having a Thai, Singapore and Malaysian 747 land right in front of us with the wingtips passing over our heads.

If you've ever seen Pushing Tin, parting your hair with wake turbulence, trust me, it's ^&$##(@ awesome!!!! Amazing experience. (Oh and playing with the rescue units dumping 22,000 gallons of water in 60 seconds is fun too but not as much) wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif wub.gif I need a towel... unsure.gif
