Afirm sure is.
Was chatting to him prior to departure and those wonderful people at the Met Service have a PROB40 for fog at NZAA in the morning so his last landing has the potential to be an autoland which would hardly be cricket. Fingers crossed the Met Service are just guessing as normal and he gets to hand fly.

NZCH has fog forecast as well so if all else fails, Nadi or Ohakea and on the bright side that's another take off and landing smile.gif

Well no fog at NZAA and managed to pull off a greaser for the last landing. Just as well as I had "she who must be obeyed" onboard and she was doing the grading!
A magic aeroplane. I take my hat off to Juan Trippe, Joe Sutter and his amazing team.

Juan will be pleased - he be lifted , pity about his airline but great insight for a wicked machine.
