We now plan on making some adjustments(now that we have time) to make the engine fully enclosed and improve thrust for better flight

I was pleased you did not blow it up :D , next I will get a little better planned , I was going up on the whim of an art show displaying my work , not sure if the happened but in saying that have to make sure I'm in a comfort zone and airshow is primary , I have not been to one now for over six years so that has to change.

That explained no word from Andrew I think his name was, prob did not get the venue he wanted, would have thought I he had a contact a good month before.

Great stuff, I see Omaka as the new Wanaka, but better situated for everyone to get to.
Next time I will take a week and go down there!
Where does the Spit MK XV normally live?

The Mk XV has just come out of a long restoration and made its maiden flight on Thursday and the flew down to Omaka on Friday early evening. The Spit is part of the Chariots of Fire collection belonging to Murray Miers, the owner of the Fw190 and Peggy the Sopwith pup and will join them on Omaka Aerodrome

Now look what the V1 has done. http://www.stuff.co.nz/marlborough-express/67626187/airshow-explosion-makes-international-headlines
Journalism showing it's usual aviation ignorance. It's a wonder it wasn't reported as a blue on blue.

That is Bloody Funny , Chris pointed that out yesterday ... I think instead off for example calling a Newspaper 'The Daily Planet' .... they should call all these tabloids 'The Marlborough Storyteller' ... the one who wrote that would feel an absolute DORK!

These days, The Daily Wail is not considered a "reliable organ of record" and I am pretty sure the Daily Mirror never was...
