Who is the best instructor in the club ?

There are only 3 or 4 and you will fly with all of them. The CFI put me through most of my PPL and CPL (all though not at wellys) and I have no complaints thumbup1.gif

Joseph used to be in Aero club, I had a trial flight with him. I guess he is a flight engineer as well. Saw him once working on Dash8-100 Vincent air.

Thanks guys for your help. smile.gif

Bennz- just a quick thought I may as well share with you: I was down at Airline Flying Club at Ardmore the other day having a chat to the CFI there, talking about the different approaches to flight training through the 'big sausage factories' compared to fund-it-yourself aeroclubs, and a point he raised that I'd never thought of before may be of some interest to you: Since you are paying up front out your own pocket through Aeroclubs, it will motivate your eagerness to proficiently learn all your ground checks for example- ie, you wouldn't want to be sitting on the tarmac for an extra 10 minutes at the end of each flight going struggling to recall list items, that will be costing you .6 of an hour's worth of hire fees, which would add up considerably over the course of a whole PPL's worth of training. - This is compared to the student loan approach, where you never see the money first hand and therefore are unaware of how much it all adds up to.
