You lucky lucky thing :P This must have been one of the last flights of concorde
I too would be worried about your flight in the Tupolev. :o
I read an article in a magizine about russian airliner safety and it was shocking :P

Yeah, I've hear storeys of air hostesses jamming wet toilet paper into the door frames that froze up during high altitude flight and acted as pressure seals... and liquid rolling down the cabin floor upon takeoff that smelled like urine :unsure:

I always got up close to the ones that came into CHC. Ive been on board two I think, the one at Duxford and the prototype at Fairford.

Same with me! I went in it at Duxford many years ago, in 2001 i think. :P

LOL about the russian airliners. I don't think i would feel very safe about going on some of them.

A $13,500 price tag it wasn't luck lol. It was the 2nd of the three flights that day (5 mins apart), the last was all celebs (go figure...) and yeah, I dont recommend Russian airlines
