Interesting to see that in 1961 the city of Rotorua was served by Matamata airfield and the city of Queenstown by Alexandra airfield. In 1963 Mount Cook used Cromwell until Queenstown became available.

Never heard of "James Air" before which apparently flew from Nelson in the early 1980s.
