A compilation including some low level flying on the ferry flights dropping off the last of the RNZAF Skyhawks to Woodbourne. Pretty freakin' awesome~!

Absolutely Friggen Brill Timmo .... old joke , the RNZAF 727 could go faster in a straight line than an A4 ... But ya won't get a 727 eat weeds at that speed 500 ft off the ground !

That was incredible. What a loss of talent getting rid of those pilots' jobs. what i would do just to have a stike wing again

would love a copy of that to add to my video collection, it is a shame to see those pilots lost, been told stories about how the yanks and aussies hated going guns at low level with our boys

That video is amazing!!!!

I remember doing my PPL, having just gone solo in the circuit at NZWR, and climbing out on the airborne leg (at the climb rate of the mighty Traumahawk PA-38-112) and nearly crapping myself as an A4 did a beat up and climbed out just over my right shoulder!

Sure makes you want to be a jet pilot.... blink.gif

Great video - I'm sure it was all filmed from the back seat of Shaun's A4 simpit !!! Love the way he even simulates the vapour around the intake.

Superb video, and great choices of music! I was amazed at not only the speed, but also the practically continuous vapour. AWESOME!!!

I hope we get to see them fly before they depart to the US. Thanks so much for the link!

You should move down to Blenheim then, it probably won't be too long before they are back flying again if the deal goes through.
