quick summary : narrower aisles, narrower economy seats, 10 abreast instead of 9 in the new 777's.

Not sure if this adds up - the article says the aisles will be 5cm narrower (2x5=10cm) and seats 'about 2cm narrower' (9x2=18, 18+10=28) which means the width they're saving to shoehorn an extra seat into is 28cm. Even my skinny teenage speedway kids would have trouble getting into an airline seat that was only a foot wide ...

Seems like a very good reason to choose another airline. Not going to pay 50% extra for the unused extra seat (cuddle class) and if they are going to make the already narrow seats even narrower then time to fly with another airline.

Cattle class becomes even more cattle-like. Another step in the wrong direction.

I am old enough to remember when flying was actually fun and enjoyable and when check-in did not take 3 hours......

smooth landings.
