The comments are interesting on that page.

I also have to wonder why anyone would buy a plane and not get the fuel dumping equipment installed, surely it can't add that much (in percentage terms) to the cost of an airbus and it avoids those embarrassing PA calls ...

As we can't dump fuel we're going to spend the next three and a half hours flying in circles then land here again, then you can all get into another plane and try again while we go home because that would put us over our hours.
