Last year's airshow here in Rotorua (to celebrate the Sydney flights) was cancelled due inclement weather. The weather fined up a bit by later on, so it was a pity - but the call had to be made I guess.
Anyway, it does look like a good line up they have planned, and it is nice that it's free. Which makes a nice change from the likes of Tauranga and Wanaka (although the displays aren't as good as TRG and nowhere near WKA levels). It's a shame that it will be held at the Lakefront - a long distance from the airport and from the DC3 flights.
There ought to be a few of us there - Captainherc, me and probably Daniel at least. Plus some of the Tauranga members should be able to make it over
