Phew! Glad that's all over and I can have my evenings back for a little while at least!
I took and passed my last CPL theory exam (PoF&AP(A)) yesterday and, by the end of the exam, couldn't help but wonder if it had been a test of my technical knowledge or a test of English comprehension....... Looking at the KDRs, unfortunately it appears to have been the latter!!!!
Has anyone else had this experience??

Asl exams are 20% aviation and 80% English comprehension

I know the feeling, you sometimes look at your KDRs and go 'How the hell could I get that wrong' but as you said pacblue, it's all bloody english comprehension, must be real hard for the foreign guys coming over here to do these silly ASL questions..

According to one of my CPL nav KDRs, I failed to correctly answer "describe the general shape of the earth".

Well I'm glad it's not just me, and like you said Splitpin "I did it anyway". It's still bloody annoying though knowing you could have done better and not because you didn't know you stuff!! I'll get over it!

Oh cr*p...I'm a foreigner and in the middle of my PPL theory studies....I'm not looking forward to this....It was hard enough to learn all those technical words (I didn't even know what they meant in hungarian) and aerodynamics in english, now add this 'english comprehension' exam to the top...will be fun...

Surely that would have been at least DD) Pamela Anderson?

haha depends on how generally you want to describe it doesn't it! A geographer like me will have a very different description of the 'general shape of the earth' to an astronomer or a 'layman' for that matter.
