Hello!
About 1min ago a RNZAF 757 just flew over my house about 5000ft (I think) heading to NZTG for circuits Im guessing? I don't know.. but it's loud!

hehehe - loud?? 757's are pretty quiet really - the older 727 going over your house at 500ft - thats LOUD !!

Pretty sure it won't be landing. Runway isn't stressed for them I don't think. Will most likely just be doing a few approaches. Still pretty cool to see. I remember seeing it round Rotorua. Looks massive compared to the normal line up we had at the time.

Lucky! The RNZAF 757's are a beast I'd love to see in real life.

They won't land, technically I think they could land succesfully here however I think they would probs go onto the grass trying to turn around at the end of the runway..
Eddy they come down, carry out the approach, then some circuits then usually enter the hold then bugger off back home.
But yea it's always nice to see a big bird flying down here even if we have to wait a little while due wake turbulence..

I think while the runway length is long enough, Daniel is right in saying it isn't stressed for the weight of a 75, nor would the apron would be I would say.
