Anyone heard this on TV a minute ago ,a heli is circling ardmore at the moment with a stuck throttle ,how they going to get that down ?auto rotation maybe ,though the flare at the end wont work will it ?

Trying to find out some more information but unfortunately no more seems to be available at the moment. I do hope it turns out ok.

A flare will work at the end of the auto as it is non-reliant on the engine. When you lower the collective to enter an auto the engine disconnected from the rotors.
