The New Zealand Warbirds Association is running an open on the 5th December
to remember Pearl Harbour and to celebrate the 75th birthday of the DC-3.
Use the main entrance on Hamlin Road for access, NO ACCESS from
Airfield road.
This will be a great day out for all the family, with model aircraft, fire truck,
vintage cars, military jeeps and all the Warbirds aircraft on display. There will
be three 45 minute practice flying displays in the afternoon plus a special glider
display.

Time: 10:00 am- 4:00 pm
Entry: $10 Children Under 14 FREE

The first major New Zealand airshow of 2011 will be the biennial
Trust House Wings Over Wairarapa 2011 which will take place at Hood
Aerodrome in Masterton on Friday 21 to Sunday 23 January 2011.Ê
Celebrating not only the aircraft but the men andÊwomen that
have shaped the history of aviation, the 2011 show will be a
tribute show that should not be missed.
Widely regarded as one of AustralasiaÕs largest and fastest growing
airshows, Wings Over Wairarapa rivals any show for display content
and reputation and is now a significant event on the Australasian
aviation events calendar.
