http://tvnz.co.nz/view/page/536641/2064062A little embarrassing that some scrotes managed to get onto one of our air bases and vandalise an aircraft, foreign or not.
Wonder if anyone will do a repaint for the Alphasim C-17

Its hardly been any secret that Whenuapai, Ohakea and Woodbourne have only ever been ringed by normal farm type fencing, anybody driving past can see that. Unfortunately there has never been the money or need to increase security. I guess that was a risk that was weighed up. The C-17 incident has now changed that to some extent, but its still a lot of money to fully ring fence and it won't happen overnight. On the flipside, those who are caught inside these boundaries should be dealt with severely, not told off like naughty school kids, as happened to the Ploughshares clowns who entered Waihopai spy base and slashed the dome.

All,
Psssst.... don't tell anyone....
but theres 28000 volts running thru dem wires.
Would account for the numerous scorch marks on the grass, where avid planespotters once stood.
Cheers
