These are some pics of my trip through the Air New Zealand Maintenance Hangar in Auckland - Believe me it took a lot of organizing and red tape to go through - but it was worth it, as you can see me and my Dad got a free go on the 747-400 Simulator on approach to Auckland at night.

One thing that amazes me is the size of that landing gear!

Dash8 , great photos , the gear impressive alright but how did really go with the 74 , guess you heading out to buy PMDG747 smile.gif

Arrr...that Main Gear Truck is the stuff of dreams...
Not sure if flightsim manages enough detail yet.
Perhaps the Wing Commander is up to a little Real vs Sim

Yeah when I flew it I was quite a bit younger, here are the problems we had on landing!, there is a summary which tells you what you did wrong!
