Exciting, but what happened next.......spin or just vertical dive???? And what was the aircraft?

smooth landings.

I would hasten to point out that aerobatics must be performed greater than 600 metres horizontally from any congested area. Arguably that is not one, but always be careful when posting pictures on the net that they don't come
back to haunt you somehow...

Tauranga in a Cessna 152? Looks like fun. I wouldnt worry about that being a congested area, it isnt one. Interesting that the tower let you do them there though.

I can think of more appropriate places to be doing spinning on a non display flight...

Too true, trouble is that in a 152 it would take you 3 hours to get anywhere else! laugh.gif

Point Taken, but ya gotta look at the fact that airspace was cleared FOR a display, now the instructor with me, is also a pilot for one of the aircraft performing a display, so he thought hed get up before the display, plus this is just before we recover, not the start tongue.gif
