That 146 was a tanker-transport/demo traveling the world in 88 , it may have been still in the same BAC camo livery and may have returned to Australia in 91

I spent lots of years in the 80's and 90's on tarmacs before hi-viz jackets came in to play. The only person who wore one was the aircraft marshaller, just so the crew could identify with that person rather than others that were out on the tarmac. Never had any issues with people not being seen. As for the light blue stubbies and tee shirts - certainly was a different time but it was the norm for us and nobody thought any different at the time!

Had it been the movie 'HOTSHOTS' biggrin.gif the aircraft marshaller would have been wearing stockings and bright red shorts .
